Welcome to our farm!

We are passionate about sharing our beautiful land & organically grown flowers with our guests. Visit us to hand select your own arrangement from our finest flowers, enjoy some freshly grown berries (when in season), or sit-back and relax on our quiet four-acre family farm. Check-out our public events, plan your own private party, or feel free to design a bouquet for a special someone; we're happy to help!

Don't forget to say hello to our animals on the farm, including: alpacas, angora goats, friendly garden chickens, & our famous pet turkey - Jack!

A Local Regenerative Farm based on Organic & Korean Natural Farming Techniques

Strawflower Farm is a first place recipient of the 2023 award for best "Regenerative Agrarian Garden" given by the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Delaware County, this farm is an oasis of thriving beauty right here in Delco.

Why buy local flowers?

Flowers can reduce stress and improve your mood, along with connecting you to a time, a place, a person, a season, and an event. They have a story and you are part of it!

locally grown

Almost 80% of fresh flowers sold in the United States are not grown in North America but in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Israel. Shipping flowers from those countries to the United States incurs huge transportation, energy, refrigeration, and storage costs, leaving an enormous carbon footprint. Locally grown flowers are produced in greater varieties, providing a wide range of colors, forms, and scents.

responsibly produced

Local growers strive to provide their flowers using responsible farming methods like integrated pest management, diverse cropping systems, and low input fertilization programs. Our farm encourages important biodiversity, soil health, and water conservation.

truly fresh

Imported flowers are often cut a week or more before they arrive in a consumer's hands. During this time, quality and vase life decline. Locally grown flowers can be cut in the morning and on your dining room table that evening.  Many commodity-type flowers have been bred for a uniformity to fit in a box, and to hold up in that box for long-distance travel, usually losing their natural fragrance in the process.

I wish I could give Strawflower Farms 6 stars! I reserved a time for my Mom and I as a Mothers Day gift & went to brunch after. We had the absolute best, memorable time. Linda and her husband were so hospitable and informative. My mom said it was the best gift I ever gave her. The flowers we arranged were stunning & we will absolutely be back again. A one of a kind experience!
